Overall loved the book. The end felt a little rushed. I feel like if other stuff in the book was edited out King could have taken more time to close out the story.

My first King novel. I'm quite disappointed. It wasn't really scary at all, plus there was almost no effort to create tension. Very crass writing and language, plus everyone is urinating all the time? Wtf.

Fairly fast-paced for a Stephen King book. Not my favorite of his but still couldn’t put it down for the last 150 pages. Certainly as sad as it is scary.

i didn’t care much for the drama between the people, but I knew it was necessary. I was just bored during those parts. thankfully, Cujo the dog made up for it, everytime it was his perspective.
And the whole part of being stuck in the car was written really well. I was very tense the whole time.

Although it could have used a thorough editor, the theme of pain and trauma being experienced in isolation is still prevalent and Cujo the St. Bernard deserved a better end.
