Bro what T actual F is going on in this audiobook 😂 dude sounds like he got in trouble for waking someone up in his house and whispers for random periods. Got me blasting my headphones. So incredibly distracting 💀
The content itself was aight. Idk why I expected it to have more info given its length but it was a good succinct summary. A bit of a stretch with some interpretations of his psyche

i figured this would have been a quick read but it turned out even quicker after I had to put it down due to the numerous errors, generalizations, and inaccuracies within the first few chapters. you can only dumb something down so much before its just incorrect.

I wanted a brief history and biography or Alexander the Great and I got it. Just didn't expect it to be this short. Nonetheless, I found this to be a solid, little primer on the man.

Really no "new" information or scholarship presented or discussed, but—as a comparatively short (under 200 pages) summary of the life and exploits of Alexander III—excellent.

I grabbed this book out of the blue as I felt I needed a little history lesson. This was a very informative read that taught me several things that I had never previously known. It was a quick and informative read that I found rather enjoyable.
