You will be my rainy day muse.

You will be my beach-babe.

A fun introduction to the famous detective Poirot! This was my first Poirot novel and I plan to try to read them all in order. I loved his character and getting to see him through the eyes of Hastings was especially entertaining. The mystery was good and had me guessing and trying to piece it together the whole time. The language was sometimes a little confusing which I’m sure is just because I’m reading 100 years after it’s original publication. It did seem like a lot of the story unfolded through dialogue or in the inquest/trial so it did feel a little slow because of that, but overall I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to read more of Christie’s books!
