I really liked the writing style. There were a lot of lines that almost felt too close to home to be honest. And I liked the story but the ending just kinda flubbed it. It almost felt like it lost steam and the author just didn’t know how to end it or something.

I went from one very online novel to another. Aesthetica is asking questions about our online filtered selves and what faux realities are doing to our real selves. This is a deep dive into the dark side of the world of influencers, cosmetic surgery and coercion. It’s a very good internet novel. The clipped sentence style reflected the subject matter nicely and the use of emojis somehow didn’t make me cringe. Thanks @lauraelizabethwoollett for the rec.

This one got its hooks in me and wouldn’t let go. A book about the feral dangerous nature of womanhood, social media, comparison, influencers, power etc.
