While this may be exactly up someone’s alley, I am 41% into the book and I don’t find Carter redeemable. I love Aria’s character and I want to know what happens, but ultimately, I want to read a book that I can get into.

He kidnaps Aria and cannot understand why she doesn’t ”obey” him, when really he is looking for love 😒 I am over the over explained inner dialogue of both main characters, Carter wishing she’s just submit to him and Aria fighting against her captor

This was a DNF for me.
I waited literally 3 months to borrow this from the library (via kindle) because I read it was like a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast, and I couldn’t even get halfway through. I have no interest in knowing what happens. The FMC is annoying and I get the circumstance is traumatic but just the way it’s written makes her insufferable.
The MC is a one track mind and just comes off as a caveman.
Super disappointing.

This was all four books smashed into one volume. And while the story was ok..the spice sometimes felt less than. Also not sure it needed for books, seems many things were just rehashed and repeated…how many times can she run? I guess I just got bored with Aria and Carter.
