Spice level 4/5
Trigger warning before reading. Beauty and the beast vibes, falling in love with her captor.

This book was a huge let down, it was too long for what it was. I found myself bored and almost DNF.

I felt like every chapter was so repetitive and it didn’t need to be this long.

I absolutely devoured this entire book in one day and immediately bought the next 3 compilations. If you’re reading the other reviews- some of the negative comments aren’t necessarily wrong but this is a fictitious world and reality has no place in fiction. It’s a great read, the characters are incredible and Willow Winters is fantastic! Think 50 Shades meets Romeo and Juliet.

Seriously good if you're into fucked up shit but sex scenes are very spicy, lots of blood spilled. The reason my rating is a 4 and not a 5 is because it got a little repetitive around the third part of the book but over all story 10/10 characters 10/10

This one started kind of strong. I thought it'd be a dark romance Beauty and the Beast, and it had such potential. By the time I realized nothing was happening, I had made it to book 4. I slogged through just to finish, but I was SO BORED. The ideas were there, but they just never actually went anywhere, and there was no character development to help the plot get there, either. I liked none of the characters. They were all obnoxious and childish playing at grownup games that were highly unbelievable. This one just missed the mark in so many ways.

Giving it 3 stars because I'm probably not the right audience for this book. I kept waiting for the mmc to finally be soft towards his woman, to show her an iota of compassion or kindness and I swear it never happened. Any time he did anything for her, it was to make up for some wild ass thing he did. This is truly an enemies to Stockholm syndrome situation and I'm sure there is a buncha girlies who will love it but it wasn't for me.

If you’re looking for a very dark spicy read this is a wonderful pick. I would recommend checking any triggers before going in, but I could not put it down
