My 100th book of the year
3.7⭐️
At the beginning, it was long, and main characters were a little annoying. But the end….

I absolutely had to start reading this series after finishing the don’t let me fall series. I devoured this book. I sobbed, laughed, blushed and screamed at so many moments throughout the book. I can’t wait to continue the series and find out what happens next. Definitely recommend for those looking to read about childhood friends turned to lovers but with secrets and drama 🥴.

let’s be so real, and honest, and vulnerable with ourselves, this is giving reddit: sad story. but god damn, did i cry. it got me anyway.
the way this just did the biggest 180. i was fighting for my life for the first 200 pages. The first and second halves of this book are just not even the same book. I’m not convinced they’re the same universe. it’s like the author slowly ran out of cringe and just decided to rip my heart out instead. a truly baffling experience, read it.

FMC and mcc felt immature, and by the 40% mark I wasn’t feeling like they gave me much to root for.

Read this book, they said. It’ll be fun, they said.
It’s got that couple in the ice bath thing from TikTok, they said.
And the “she won’t hold his waist on the back of his bike so he hits the brake so she grabs on” thing too, they said.

I am a little upset I spent money on this book, I DNF’d at 20%. I don’t feel any chemistry between the MFC and the MMC… Not a good read in my opinion.
