3 1/2 stars

This book is 3 1/2 stars for one reason, and one reason only.

I couldn’t stand the heroine Tessa. She started out nice enough, but this book was just a complete case of it’s me not you.

Lauren Rowe is the queen of insta love done correctly.

This book is Love to Hate to Love. I enjoyed the misunderstanding at the beginning, but Tessa quickly became annoying by not allowing the hero Ryan “Captain” to explain himself.

I grew to completely hate Tessa, and It makes me really sad that I did, because I loved Ryan so much.

I can’t wait to read the next story though!

Oh Captain, my Captain!

The Morgans steal another one without a shred of guilt. (Two if you include me!)

I love this family and these guys. It's so easy to fall when their family is so wonderful. It's easy to see where all their best qualities come from. The live flows from the Morgans and if you are lucky enough to be a target- It's better than the megamillion jackpot!

#Morganforlife

Ryan "Rum Cake" Morgan is goals for even the happily married old lady type. (Yes, I meant me!) He's a sex god - even his horoscope days so! He's a wonderful listener, a thinker, and very skilled...negotiator.

Welcome to family, Samantha! I mean Tessa. Or T Rod...well, whoever you are!

I'm the captain now.

Captain is a book in the Morgan Brothers series. I'd say if it was #1 or whatever BUT Audible told me one number and GR tells me a different one. So instead of trying to figure out what the heck is going on in the reading world - this is just a book. A book in series that you should read.

In it, you will meet Ryan and Tessa. Now these two were adorable and completely shippable. Ryan was a man whore that had his world turned upside down when Tessa walks into the bar. Then there's Tessa, aka T-Rod, and I was hooked. The whole this woman changed me whoring ways (or vise versa) is a cute idea.. and I'm sure it's something that actually happens for people in the real world. It made me smile and laugh a bit but I ate that shit up.

Even though this shoved insta-love into my life, I really enjoyed this couple. Sometimes insta crap works and a lot of the time it really doesn't. These two made it work and that is why I want to continue on with this series.

Overall, the smut is amazing and now I need another book by Lauren stat!

Another perfect book!

I seriously do NOT know how she does it! Every book feels fresh and new and sparkly. The characters just get more and more bloody endearing, and holy crap the hotness boils over!

Ryan and his crazy obsession, that he tracks down to the ends of the earth when she's right under his nose the whole time is so funny and beautiful!

Tessa is such a REAL woman, with control issues and trust issues, and loony hang-ups. But she's amazing, strong, smart and lovable.

You will LOVE reading the torture these two put each other through, both the sexy and the swoony kind, as well as the angst and angry kind.

Ok... I'm off to read Ball Peen Hammer because good Lord I'm excited to see who takes Peenie down!
