“Love is a funny thing. It burrows inside you until it’s etched into your bones. You can’t forsake it, not can you deny it.”

Read this Fantasy Romance duology if you like;
• Enemies-to-Lovers
• Found Family
• Witches and Demons
• Arranged Marriage
• Spicy scenes
• Strong Heroine
• Action-Packed

The Fated and the Damned is a great conclusion to this duology!

Fast pacing, easy to read writing style and short chapters keeps me interested until the end.
I love to read from both POVs – Kitarni and Dante, I like seeing how Kitarni grows stronger and step up to being the leader she meant to be.
I love her relationship with Andras, she founds a new family beside her mother and sister.

I really like the chemistry between Kitarni and Dane, they really suit each other. However, I wish the angsty and anger moments could have played out a bit longer after the betrayal that happens in the first book.....
This book also has several spicy scenes and they are quite detailed too. It's a lot spicier compare to the first book.

The final battle scene is one of my favorite parts of the book, it’s intense with swords-fighting and witches battling with their powers to defeat the villain!

It’s a well-written enthralling story with lots of different emotions throughout the story.
Overall, I would recommend to fantasy romance lovers to read this duology.
I’m really looking forward to read more from this author in the future!

Thank you to the author and Equality Book Tours for giving this e-ARC and for having me on this book tour. I’m leaving this review voluntarily!

Fave Quote: It was the lies and secrets of others that had masked my true skin. And now that I knew who I was, I would cower no longer

WOW! That opening was 🔥. Completely unexpected and I was HERE for the darker turn of events. Not only is this the slightly darker book in the duology, it's also spicier by far. I love the relationship between Kitarni and Dante. The moments between Kitarni and her sister, Eszter, were also super sweet. However, András has to be my favourite side character because he always has the most amusing lines. I would have liked to see more of Margit and Imre though. The ending of this book was perfection, and the last line really made me smile

I wasn't surprised by Caitlin's betrayal, but it was surprising to see just how far she was willing to go. I found it hilarious when Kitarni and Dante were locked in to 'talk'. Such a good scene! I was already sad when Dante's dad died, but for both him and Kitarni to lose their parents on the same day was really emotional. Especially since Dante then went and killed his mum, although that was only sad in principle
