Km can't write a bad book in my eyes.
This was a hard book for me to get through because of personal triggers- but I'm so glad I got through and will be jumping into the second book.
"So why don't you believe in love?"
"It's not that I don't believe in it, it's that I don't think it's worth the price."
This books follows Terra, Finn, Edgar and Elias on their journey to Alkrose and all the brutal shit they see in between. They learn about their shadows along the way.

So, I discovered K.M. Moronova with The Fabric of Our Souls and from the moment I read that book I loved her writing.
I opened this book expecting the same sort of experience. On that end, it is my fault perhaps that I was a bit disappointed in this book.
I am not used to reading RH and I am not opposed to everything that went with it in this book.
I was a bit bored with some parts, and very grossed out with other parts.
All in all, I think this was a good read and I would def recommend it. I will be reading the next book as well.
It just didn't rattle the stars for me.

Okay, what did she put in this because wth?!
This has got to be one of the best new fantasy/PNR books I’ve read this year. The magic system and world are so unique! This is a must read.
What to expect:
- shadow magic
- war
- mate bonds
- why choose
I’m completely hooked and my only gripe is that I have to wait for the next book. This first book had me hooked like the bonds that tie series.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My first fantasy romance.
I am not a fantasy reader by any means because I usually don’t like the world building, but this book was recommended on TikTok of course and wanted to try it
I am so glad I did. I enjoyed it so much I immediately downloaded the next in the series.
Was told this was a spicy romance, and honestly I don’t even think it is

I went into Of Deathless Shadows for the creepy, gorey, dark-romance, fantasy vibes, what I didn't expect was three completely contrasting POVS that left me uncomfortable and speechless. Two read like children (I know Finn was technically 19 but Edgar acted older than him so = child) and the third was an absolutely feral "reverse harem" vibe that honestly left me speechless (and not in a good way). If smut was the goal, I needed the other POVS to be adult characters.
Bit of an unhinged story besides that but I'm not really interested in finding out where it goes.
