Hating the Player by Rebecca Jenshak
4.5⭐️
I loved this! I didn’t think I would like it as much as I liked the first book.. especially reading the first one or two chapters.. but I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to read the next one

I’m loving this series. Gavin and Violet had dated but became enemies. It all started with a camping trip that brought these two back together. Gavin is such a sweet guy and these two had some major chemistry. Can’t wait for the rest of this series.

Usually I love a nice drama filled, angst heavy second chance romance.
This isn’t it, but it was still just as great as what I’m used to. As you start reading it, Gavin just seems more and more appealing.
Even though it has a trope that I kind of don’t like when it comes to cheating, it’s the implied cheating.
But how this one took it unlike others is that Violet never find out if it’s true or not even in the end.
My only gripe about it is I just wish that there was more spice!
Definitely would re-read and highly recommend!
