Absolutely loved this book. Thank god Piper got over the self sacrifice thoughts and finally embraced the starting of possibly a great relationship with Ash.
With the world in chaos, Ras, Hades and Gaines attacking each other and consul/prefects Piper seems to be the only logical one with a obvious understanding of the deamon world and how to move through it. Looking forward to next book. These just get better and better. Thought I would deluxe them because I rarely read teen/adult fiction books anymore because I like adult relationship and sexy action but so far the writer has satisfied but romantic side even though it not overly displayed and hopefully in that book I get my HEA I always like.

The book sort of meandered away gem the main plot without really providing a reason, but about halfway through it clarified everything and tied it together. Like the previous books, very enjoyable but just not unforgettable. The first book was definitely my favorite!!!

This was a good book, just not a great book. I enjoyed reading it, as I am incredibly invested in Piper & Ash. However, some of the plot continues to be predictable and repetitive. Overall, a good read but likely wouldn’t re-read.

The series went in a direction I wasn't expecting, which isn't a bad thing, but not necessarily a good thing either.
The ending - I liked that they didn't have a fairytale ending, but I want more closure then what was given. I wanted more from the romance in general over the series - and definitely more possessive Ash.
I don't know. Glad I read it, but a bit disappointed I'll go with. First two books are definitely the best.

I had some issues with the earlier installments (namely, the lack of female characters grated), but this final book really delivered. Solid ending that wrapped up the most critical loose ends.
One thing I really appreciate about this author (across the series) is knowing when the audience doesn't really need to see a full scene in detail, especially if the peak of a battle already occurred or if a fairly by-the numbers conversation is about to occur: do we really need 50 predictable pages covering it? No, we do not, and I appreciate being spared that. It can make other books drag. Another bonus is the author assumes the audience is smart enough to catch up with the world and characters with each installment; I read another YA series where fully 20 pages would be dedicated to re-explaining ALL the world building concepts. Instead, here the audience is only reminded of plot-critical events when they occur, and the author otherwise assumes the audience is smart enough to catch up.
Overall, there was a nice, fitting end to this series... unlike the CW shows I've been comparing it to.
