As acknowledged by the author-this is essentially a ‘You’ve Got Mail’ rewrite. It was cute and I enjoyed the read but I was a little disappointed it was basically a rewrite.

4.75 stars. This is the first proper romcom that I've read in a while! This felt like a 2000s romcom. This was inspired by "You've got mail" and I think you can definitely tell it was inspired by that but not in a plagiarism way at all. This was really good. I liked it a lot. I have no complaints at all. It was lighthearted and cute. It was paced perfectly which is great because it's less than 300 pages. Gracie and Sebastian were great together. Their chemistry was good as well. The only reason why this book isn't 5 stars is because it didn't give me the 5 star feeling. This is also really good for people who aren't into or don't like spice in their books. Overall this was a great book and I would highly recommend!

Really enjoyable and easy romance read. I felt like the reveal was a little dragged out - in that some clues felt obvious. But I really enjoyed it.

Rivals to lovers
Retelling - Shop around the corner

I've had this on my list for a while, and I'm happy to say it lived up to my expectations. A cute and sweet read with lovely characters all around.
The only part I disliked, and I disliked it a lot, was a character had all their issues resolved by the issue just magically disappearing.

I’m a sucker for a plot based on Parfumerie every time (except that one with the bouquet of pencils). This had that, and I also felt that the author was really good at building sexual tension (putting on an apron was surprisingly sexy!).

This was cute! I’ll admit it took me a while to get into, and I was a bit bored the first half or so, though it may be just based on my mood at the time and what I had going on in my own life. It’s meant to be a similar telling as You’ve Got Mail, and I recently read another book with a similar premise, so I think those added to my initial boredom. In the end though, I was in love with the characters and wanted more about them. Most of the book is about their friendship and we don’t really get to read about them once they’re officially in a relationship. Though overall I did really enjoy this and loved the Disney references. If you’re a fan of You’ve Got Mail I would definitely recommend!

I loved this, the online chemistry and offline rivals was just great. I loved the innocence of the romance

For fans of the movies The Shop Around The Corner and You’ve Got Mail, I LOVED this book and couldn’t put it down.
