This was the book where Tatum takes back her power, but it went a LITTLE too long for me so I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one. Or maybe I wanted them to move on from the bullying a little quicker...Regardless, this book was still excellent and when Tatum has her "emotional moment" with each guy...Oh my. THE EMOTIONS. My heart for each of them. Saint in the closet with her? Ugh. Kyan explaining about the Unspeakables? Wow. I mean, we already knew that they weren't everything Tatum thought they were, but to truly learn all of what happened...Morally grey, yes, but not without their reasons. Let's not forget Nash too. FINALLY.

This book also had some really funny moments too. The whole squid emoji was HILARIOUS. The text exchange in the beginning with all of them was the funniest thing and was totally each of the guys. Cracked me up. But the best thing was one of Tatum's revenge with the tampons. I laughed sooooo hard. It was so funny.

So while this book has the tug-and-push still in it, we're getting more "tugs" than push from everyone and it's amazing how well we believe the changes in them all. So good.

Down a little bit from the last book only because I felt this one for a bit slow for the majority. I already started book 3 though so I can say the tail end (maybe last 30%) really picks up again.

As with the first book, I'm not here for any one character but more for the evolving bond. I really like the form it has taken and I'm excited to see where it goes.

The plot with the Hades Virus also picked up quite a bit but only at the end. You could almost forget about it for the rest of the book it was mentioned so little. Anyway, onto book 3!

This book was a little disappointing to me the first one was crazy good. I rode the struggle buss hard trying to finish this one. I am still giving it 5 stars because it still has all sorts of good things in it. Its Steamy, dark and hot.

WHAT. IS. HAPPENING. I’m moving on to the next book I can’t wtf is this story and I’m so mad at everything.

I can’t stop devouring these books and I’m definitely rereading over Christmas to tab the physical copies. My review for the first book is pretty much the same thoughts for this one just….more.

This series is for a specific type of reader and man am I happy that’s me. These dumbass men who need a foot up their arses and a main character who is a little much at times but I have grown to like.

2 books down 2 to go. I’m having a bloody great time.

This is a gripping and intense read that will captivate fans of dark romance, bully romance, and reverse harem themes, particularly those who enjoy complex, suspenseful stories with strong female protagonists and morally ambiguous characters.
