Interesting. I wish there was a bit more discussion about the basic biology of fungi. I think the chapters are ordered strangely. The last chapter felt like it should have been the introduction. I liked the book for being an interesting discussion of fungi, but many of the more interesting parts were not unique to this book, and have been better presented elsewhere. I appreciated this specific focus on fungi, however. A new perspective i found from this book was the idea of the role of fungi in habitat restoration and plant health as well as the lack of conservation and protection fungi species. Note that these impressions were from listening to this book as an audio book.
