A lovely follow up with heavier, important themes. I really liked Eliza as a character. I was wanting more Wendel, but the point of the story was him being neglected so his absence made sense. This is the rare graphic novel series with amazing art & a really deep story line.

I really loved seeing Marjorie and Wendell’s friendship evolve, and Eliza’s story was very powerful. Colton sucks.

The end was a little too perfect with Eliza and Tessi’s conversation.

the first half is a bit slow and somewhat painful to get through, but it pays off in the second half with character development. i would have loved this in middle school.
