I don’t think this completely lives up to the expectation I had. While Faustus’s final monologue is fantastic, everything else leading up to it is just okay. Still, very interesting and the last scene was so so good.

Not much I can add to other reviews of this one, except to point out it is very readable. If a bad high school experience with Shakespeare has you avoiding the works of this era, you might give this a read.
