best so far. much longer which was good. the characters actions made a lot more sense. more serious and their actions made sense with their motivations. she did a lot of explaining which i didn’t like. show not tell and all. but def a step up best book so far. i liked that they made the characters actually real compared to the movies. krum and stuff actually talked and had emotions and stuff. the whole hermoine subplot was weird like it was constant. basically hermoine only contribution and it just wasn’t concluded. and almost looked at as like childish but i mean she was right so idfk. hagrid was less of an oaf and more eccentric which i liked. higher stakes real consequences i liked that. getting better for sure

I think this is my favourite book of the series so far, I throughly enjoyed all the action. I was also really psyched to see Voldemort in all his glory. The duel between him and Harry was even better in written form.

I do have to say though, It is baffling to me that after reading the books, people love Snape so much. He is so horribly mean, the movies don’t do him justice.
