Loved getting back into it. Don’t like her stubbornness sometimes but overall liked the book and world. Slowly learning more but honestly not much happens

The supporting cast makes this book for me. Especially, Salem, Esra, and Baltisse.
I expected the ending, so I'm unsure why people are so gutted about it. It made sense, and the foreshadowing was strong so it shouldn't have been such a shock.
There is no spice in this book, FYI.
0.25 chili peppers.
Looking forward to book 3!

I cannot and will not shut up about this series. A legitimately badass FMC, with earned strength and grit. The world building is terrifying, but cool as hell. Real plot, Easter eggs carried over from book one.
CONTINUITY!!!!!!
I love you Stacey, please write forever.

I absolutely loved the first book in the Glacian trilogy and was super excited for this book.
While I was sad this book was less action packed than the first, it had massive character development and expanded in the world's lore. Dawysn struggles with betrayal and heartbreak all the while attempting to save her people and learn about her new magic. The massive internal struggle within her leads to many realizations and growth which I found to be so amazing. I ver much appreciate that she does not instantly forgive Ryon and that she has to do major growth to overcome her issues with him. This book expanded on what we know of Terrsaw and the history of the world, including some amazing myths.
I cannot wait for it all to come to an epid ending as there are three main enemies to deal with.

Whilst I’m still very much enjoying this series, but god I wanted this book to be over because I wanna see WARRRR.
I’d like to stick a axe in the Queens myself.
I love love love all the characters, but the ENDING.
Are you joking 🫠🥹

I love the world building of this series. The ledge and it’s impact on the protagonist were well described. There were times where I skimmed, whenever I do this, I assume something about the writing is not grabbing me enough to care about the details.
