The devil found his reason for being. Everything Sam thought he knew and wanted from his existence changed when he found Christopher.
Christopher witnessed death and saw the truth to what Sam is and wasn't scared. He didn't fear. He craved.
These two are explosive.
They have this feral want for each other and they push the boundaries on what happens between them.
Falling in love with a demon wasn't something Christopher planned on but it's something that it so incredibly right.
These two show how much love can change you in the best way. How the right being can show you that the world isn't out to ruin you and those that hurt you before don't matter.

I’m usually not a big fan of the Daddy kink but it was so well written that I enjoyed it. There is so much pain and insecurities around Christopher, abused his all life - he’s relieved when Samyaza (a big bad demon) enters his life and takes him away for everything ! Samyaza is kind of lost, he doesn’t know what to do with his human pet, but little by little Christopher got to him and just conquered everything !

I was curious about this one because it’s the only published fantasy (unless you count Lucas which I don’t) book by Onley James.

At first I was only mildly invested. I’m not sure why because the premise was interesting and I liked the overarching plot. It was cool to see how the religious elements factored in here as opposed to her other books. The ship was okay and grows together as James’ couples always do.

Despite the fact this wasn’t my favorite  , I can’t pretend the end didn’t hurt (in a good way). Onley James
Spoilerguarantees HEAs
, so it makes the heartbreak even more impressive.

Bland and Repetitive

I didn’t notice it nearly as much in the newsletter serial, but the repetitiveness is extreme when chapters are read one after another. As in the characters having a conversation for the first time, then, two chapters later, having the same conversation “for the first time.”

The ending was all right, but the book wasn’t nearly as dark as I had hoped and instead came off as an idiot torturing someone who had no other options for safety. So. 1/5 stars.

I read this mostly for smut and some plot but it was practically all smut. The smut was definitely good but i was bored of it after a while.

There’s also some repetitiveness like Christopher told Sam about his family life and then the next chapter it was like that never happened and Christopher told the story again.

I love Onley James but i couldn’t get behind this one.

I really like this author, however, the book was a fail. There were too many inconsistencies. One chapter explains what happens to Christopher when he is young and what his family did and two chapters later he repeats himself as if he didn’t tell Sam a word about it..again Sam is considered Lucifer in the first chapter or two and next it’s his brother who is Lucifer… It’s like this book was not proofread.

Pro- the premise of the story seems interesting
I like Sam’s character you see his growth, his sub Christopher is meh.

If you give this author a try..I recommend necessary evils- but I do not recommend this book- if the author proofread it and updates it I may come back.

Not a fan. Needed serious edits. I didn't like either of the characters. They were both too flat. The demon was supposed to be this wrath demon but you'd never know it. The sex scenes were hot but that's not why I read books. I was just bored the whole time. The ending was kinda blah. Not for me. I'll probably avoid any paranormal written by this author.
