Dieses Buch ist Schuld daran, dass ich vor Freude im sächsischen Regio geheult habe
Ich konnte es kaum aus der Hand nehmen, obwohl gar nicht so viel passiert ist. Die Charaktere sind mir so sehr ans Herz gewachsen dass ich sie boxen wollte wenn sie sich den Weg zum Glück verbaut haben. Und ich habe an dem Buch sehr geschätzt, dass es nicht nur eine wunderschöne Liebesgeschichte ist, sondern die Charaktere Raum für ihre Persönlichkeiten bekommen, eine Tiefe, die ihren Handlungen einen Sinn gibt. Neben der Romanze werden auch andere interessante Themen behandelt wie Religion, Selbstakzeptanz, Familie und nicht zuletzt das Wandern, dessen Ästhetik ich sehr genossen habe. Einer meiner liebsten queeren Romane bis jetzt (und auch in der deutschen Übersetzung nicht cringe, props hier an die Übersetzer*innen die wirklich gute Arbeit geleistet haben)

This is the second book I've read by this author and yet again am just blown away by the passion, joy, and heart she brings to these characters. Lex and Ben are so cute together and just so much of a joy to read about. Highly recommend.
