Enjoyed the first half of the book mostly. There were some amazing inclusive messages of all ways to birth, lost its way a little at the end leaning more into alternative theories.

A beautiful and supportive look at what *to* do to nurture and support yourself or a pregnant loved one, for a time when most advice and guidance revolves around what not to do. Insights on nutrition, movement, meditation, mental health, spirituality and cultivating space to immerse in this vulnerable but transformative time. A great balance for anyone who wants something more than all the clinical books out there. Tasty recipes in the back.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This is the second of hers I have read and it was just as informational and educational to me as her fertility book. I love hearing about how TCM supports pregnancy and the pregnant woman’s body as a whole and not just as a medical event.
