After finishing Dead Girl Blues, I couldn't wait to read the author's other books, and I wasn't let down. This was a really enjoyable book, and I would definitely suggest it.What starts off very lightheartedly quickly turns into something fun but sinister. A clever protagonist is what makes a good vengeance narrative better.
Graphic: Kidnapping and Sexual harassment
Moderate: Child death

If y’all like thrillers with main a protagonist being a girlypop. Read this. It’s funny it’s gorey. It’s giving undiagnosed ADHD. And great thing is you can’t be too sad because it’s 185 pages so no emotional attachment. I read it in like three hours it’s really fast pace and the chapters are really short. A pretty good pallet cleanser if you’re into thrillers.
Graphic: Child abuse, Child death, Death, Gore, Blood, Car accident, Death of parent, and Alcohol

Yet another fantastic Sodergren book! His stuff just never disappoints. I'm all caught up with his books now and am eagerly awaiting his next one

This is the second book I have read by Sodergren and boy do I love his writing. This book was the perfect mix of humour and gore with an amazing main character. This was a quick read and I enjoyed every bit of it.

I’m consuming these Sodergren books like popcorn! I can’t get enough! I was really weary to start this one - knowing only that this was a story of the kidnapping of Katy, a 16 year old daughter of a very wealthy movie producer. Anything with kids is a big no for me, but after reading a few reviews, I took a chance. I’m glad I did, because this was all feminine rage bad-assery. I appreciate how Sodergren writes women. He does a great job of balancing emotion & wit with pure resilience. Super fun read - 5/5!
