Colleen Hoover can write anything on a napkin and I'll be like SHUT UP, TAKE MY MONEY, AND LET ME READ THIS. And cry. I'll definitely cry over it.

If you've read Hopeless and Ugly Love, this one is for you. Her writing is simple but packing a powerful emotional punch, subtly getting under your skin until it's too late and you can't get enough of it. The characters are layered, the storyline has depth and it changes from sweet and heartwarming to intense and heartbreaking in an instant. And you'll love every second of it. The summer setting was gorgeous but don't think this is a summer read. It's not. Prepare your tissues.

I adored the main characters. I want to hug them and protect them from the world. I laughed with them, cried for them, cheered for them. They've been through the worst and I could feel their stuggles, pain, and ultimately joy. As always, the twists and turns kept me on edge. And as always CoHo delivered a gasp-worthy reveals and cry-worthy conclusion. Is it really a surprise that I cried? I was left there feeling every possible emotion. And I love how this book picked my brain on topics like family, body positivity, poverty, and addictions.

Do I really need to talk to you about the romantic aspect of this book? The angst! The slow-burn! The funny and sweet moments! The intensity of their attraction! The way two lost souls found each other but also went through their own self-discovery journey. It's everything I love in a romance. It's more than a romance. It's real and raw. I think she's right, I really grew heart bones that broke and healed with this story.

Now I'm gonna go, cry some more and eat ice cream while thinking about this book.

Every time I pick up a Colleen Hoover book fear courses through me. I love her writing and every single book she’s written has a special place in my heart. I’m not kidding, call me crazy but sometimes I even think about them out of nowhere. So why am I scared to read every new one that is releases? Because there is no way they can continue to get better right? Wrong. Heart Bones proved that.

This book was excellent, the characters each had their own very distinct and dynamic personalities, even our side characters (as always). They are spunky, funny, damaged, and perfect all at once. Your heart hurts when their’s hurts, you giggle when they are happy and you glare at the pages when someone f-ed up.

I feel that Colleen Hoover is getting better and better at the suspense and mysterious character, you know something is going on you just don’t know what. The layers of suspense that keep both you and Beyah in that dark just add to the perfect reveal of the plot twist.

I loved this. I love Colleen Hoover. I love Beyah and Samson, and Sara and P.J. Everything about this book has my heart feeling fulfilled and light. There is always someone there to fight for you, even if you haven’t met them yet.

Thank you Colleen Hoover for another amazing book! Please don’t ever stop writing!

2.75 stars.

Finally a Colleen Hover book that I didn't completely hate.
It's not the best romance i've ever read, not even close, actually it's very boring, but hey, at least it wasn't as bad as Ugly love (the bar is very low

this is definitely added to my list of favorite books that coho has given us. samson and beyah’s relationship TORE me apart in all the right ways.

the way they describe soulmates is that the other half of your soul is being returned to you; something you’ve lost only to spend the rest of your life searching for what can make you whole again.

i think it’s easy to say that neither of them had easy childhoods, and the belief of love may as well have been shot down in a far off window in another realm. but to watch these two characters come together and find things in each other they were missing in everyone else was ugh so beautiful. i LOVED the way she wrote these two and will forever dictate her as the queen of twisting a story completely around at the last second

thank you for another couple i will sob over coho <3
