What a fun read!
I really enjoyed the first book in this series, and I loved reading about Buzz and Hollis.
Trace "Buzz" Wallace meets Hollis Westbrooke at the stadium he plays baseball at, and hits on her. Hollis is the GM's daughter, and is trying to distance herself from her scumbag ex.
Buzz is funny and so sweet to Hollis, a complete jackass to his brother Trip, and a good friend to Noah, and a total Momma's boy!
Hollis canât resist Buzz's crazy charm (though she really tried).
Once they got together, it all fell into place, and they were thoughtfull and considerate of each other.
*Big sigh* It was perfect!

I love Trace his Inner Monologue had me howling....
Did the Audio addition.... Hate the Male Narrators voice for the female lead she sounds like a cartonn character.

This book is seriously one of the funniest books I've read in a LONG time! I just finished the whole series and from the first book (Hard Pass) I loved Buzz/Trace. I was honestly cracking up from the minute he showed up in the first story lol

Hahaha, Trace cracks me up. He is freaking hilarious!
This book was so incredibly funny, I was laughing out loud at Buzz and Hollis- you would be hard up to find a couple better suited than these two.
Sara has once again left me with a smile on my face and happiness in my heart.

Sara Ney always manages to make me laugh with her books, she's hilarious and one of my favourite sports rom-com authors. Hard Fall was every bit as hilarious as I expected it to be, and Buzz's character was so much more than I expected him to be, too! The inner workings of that man's head...perfection. Plus the banter between him and Hollis' father is perfect.

Gah! I loved this book!! Trace and Hollis are so cute together!! I have to be honest, after the first book in the series I was meh on reading his story...so I took some time and forgot about it and when I was looking for something to read today I read the synopsis and was like that sounds amazing! And it was. And I am so glad I finally read it! Yeah Trace is a bit over the top, he says what he thinks and he doesn't hold back and is like a big kid at times, but oh I loved him! I loved how he was there for Hollis, how he showed her how much he cared. Oh, he was so sweet!
And Hollis was amazing. I loved how she could see who Trace really was. Man these two were great together! I loved this story so so much!!

Sara Ney is back! I had so much fun reading Hard Fall and getting invested into the lives of these characters. Telling the love story of Trace âBuzzâ Wallace, a completely misunderstood professional baseball player, and Hollis Westbrooke an editor who has sworn off athletes after her last relationship went south.
Guys, Iâm gonna be real blunt with youâthis took me forever to get into. Moreover, I really was considering DNFing the story at around the 18% mark because I just wasnât connecting with any of the characters or the plot line; however, I decided to trek on and I am so happy I did, because once I hit that 30% mark it was like a completely different story. I fell hard for these characters, their chemistry and back and forth banter captivated me. So many times I found myself having to drop my kindle because I was laughing so hard I couldnât breathe.
Sara Ney delivered with her signature humor and snark that we all know and adore from her novels. The amount of sass our hero Buzz oozes throughout the story is one that deserves the slowest of claps. Funny, sweet, and the most genuine baseball player I think Ney has writtenâBuzz had me whispering to myself that if Hollis didnât snag him, I would! My favorite moments of the story were the ones where he was in his true element and comfortable showing a side of him that no one ever sees apart from his family and closest friend. After reading the first novel in the series, Hard Rule, I never thought I would say these words butâŚI am Team Buzz.
I wasnât the biggest fan of Hollis and took up some issues on her personality as I felt that certain scenes contradicted the personality we were painted of her in during the entire story. But I loved how she elevated Trace in a way that made him more likable, and how they both brought out the best of each other a little bit more with each passing chapter.
All in all, this bookâthough it took a while to get intoâhad me in stitches and grinning like a baboon. Hard Fall was such a blast and just the book to make me fall in love with Sara Ney and her work all over again.
