Simple story about a woman who moves to a small town and an old farm house. She finds an old Santa suit and learns the history of the family that had owned the house. She falls for her neighbor and real estate agent.

Very cute. Very hallmark movie-esque. It has a nice message about the spirit of Christmas.

This was such a joyful read! Just what I needed to get in the Christmas spirit. I loved watching the character development and the story unfold. If there was a drink to represent this book it would be a peppermint hot cocoa with extra marshmallows and whip cream!

3 stars in real life, but Christmas books have an entirely separate rating system, don’t they?
I couldn’t stand the main character 82% of the time, and her new friend, Phoebe, is deranged. But, besides all of that I still had plenty of warm/fuzzies and isn’t that what it’s all about.

This books was a cute and quick read that was a book version of a Hallmark movie. I don’t really feel like I can rate it though because this book is for someone that is looking for that and I am not. Not sure why I read it. I just found it incredibly cheesy, stereotypical, and plain.

Thankfully it was only 200 pages. This book was just so awful and flat. I also really hate books in third person, especially if it doesn’t grasp my attention. Although it was a short book it felt like the longest read of my life.
