Definitely a worthwhile read for dog lovers, especially for owners of bad dogs and retrievers. Marley embodies the qualities of all those bad dogs, and then some, but in spite of that, is part of the family.

Honestly was just looking for a reason to cry (it worked).

Just finished reading this to my 10 year old daughter. Outstanding book that will resonate with anyone who has had and lost a not-so-perfect dog. Dogs mean so much to us but most of us don't realize just how special they really are until they're gone.

Li este livro na adolescĂȘncia. E chorei. Tal como o Dumbo traumatizou-me na infĂąncia, nunca mais quero ler este livro. Nunca mais.

Probably one of the most moving books I have ever read, right next to Perks. I swear, how Grogan writes it is just, perfect.

I wouldn't put this in the annals of great literature, but it was cute and amusing albeit predictable. But I'm still a sucker for dogs and other animal stories.

The feels in this book! I couldn't help but shed a couple of tears towards the end. Definitely recommend this book.
