This did drag at times and was a touch too long in true Liz fashion, but I’m so mad at past me for putting off reading this for so long. It’s been a long time since a book has broken my heart like this… I cried for, like, 80 pages straight!!! Instant 5 stars for making my cold, dead heart feel so deeply! I just simply loved Kai, Miller, Max and everything about their love. And Monty?? DAD. BLUEPRINT. No notes.

I liked this book it was a nice sweet romance.
I did find it a little repetitive, they seemed to go round in circles over the same issues and not resolving them until the very end.

Babe. Liz. Madam Tomforde. Miss ma'am. Where do you buy the good kush you put in these books? I'm addicted. Gonna go read about Zanders and Stevie just for the pure vibes even tho I didn't care a bit about them before starting this series. Now I do. I care very much. I'm invested in all of their lives. Like yes intertwine the crap out of all of them. I'm gonna go read book one as my impatient way of waiting for book 4 while praying to any and all deities out there that we get a RIO BOOK because my cutie patootie sweetie boo baby deserves to find his HEA just as much as all these peeps. Ugh so good. I'm having a great time.

This is another romance where the mfc can’t have the job she wanted and the man at the same time, so she gives up her highly accomplished career to be with him. Of course it’s okay because she didn’t like that job, anyway. If this isn’t a pet peeve of yours, there’s plenty to enjoy in this book.

Kai falls first, and I’m here for it. The banter is pretty great, too. Miller’s dad, Monty, is a good character and not a caricature of a dad/overprotective father.
