A beautiful book. Truly. The characters and their words filled me with so many emotions! I seriously cannot wait to be transported again in the next book and see what happens to our Sisters Solstice (and obviously Mabon

Agatha and her sisters are the witches of the Season . Agatha is autumn and the grimoire has called her forth into action . Each sister is faced with a duty , weather good or bad , and it is Agatha’s time . Her and Mabon , her cute as ever bat familiar mist travel to the kingdom to fulfill the prophecy .
The witchy vibes and plot was so wonderfully done . I enjoyed the sisters interactions and all Agatha’s pasts life memories .
We meet Prince Thackeray Aka Grimm , who is the prince of bone : hinge the prophecy , and he and Agatha must be wed . The face several corrupted people and policies within the kingdom and must cat together to mend the issues . The both have secrets and magic and I ended this book so much both times I’ve read it !! 5 stars both times !
Loved Agatha and Tindles fashion encounters and her influence within the community . Grimm falls hard and he’s so guarded and swoon worthy : hence he gave us pockets in a dress yall !! Pockets ok I’m done it’s great just read it :)

"But the nights are often very difficult for me. I'm pleased to see them over. To let the sun chase the monsters away."

Just finished this for second time to prepare for sequel and loved it even more this time!

Original review:

Books about/involving witches are really my jam. This was the PERFECT read for Fall! Four Solstice Sisters come together each equinox to pass their Grimoire on to the appropriate sister for the season and inside is penned that sister’s task for the season. Agatha, Sister Autumn, is always given difficult tasks, as her season does coincide with death and decay. This season, she’s given the task of marrying a prince. No further details. And that is where I’m going to stop.

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!! I freaking loved it. It was so well written- the descriptions, the characters, their development, the arranged marriage, Agatha, Grimm… sigh. I loved it. And it felt somehow familiar, like I was sliding under a cozy blanket to enjoy the season unfold. That being said, it also had a different twist on folklore and I just thought it was done beautifully. That’s all I want to say because this is just one you need to experience for yourself.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(5/5) and impatiently awaiting the sequel.

This book was perfect for my pumpkin-spice-sipping, autumn-witch-loving heart.

Honestly, I never thought my childhood of reading books about wizards and magic and my young adulthood of reading enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance would have culminated in me reading this series but it seems absolutely perfect.

I think this book was fantastic. I couldn't put it down. There were so many layers to it I don't want to spoil anything. But I do love the concept of the Grimoire and the witches infiltrating the courts. Honestly one of my favorite ARC books I have ever gotten. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

*This is my honest review. I received the first two books in this series in exchange for my honest review*
