Have you ever wondered how the taxation of trade routes came about that led to the Trade Federation’s blockade at Naboo? Then you, friend, are in luck! But seriously, this book isn’t bad, though it’s really just another version of The Phantom Menace’s plot: secret shadowy Sithy figure manipulates politics and Jedi to end up advancing his plan, while Qui Gon and Obi Wan run around slashing stuff with lightsabers. Could be worse, but it could be a lot better too.
