Who doesn’t love a drama packed, messy book?! This one was a fun messy ride honestly! These women were dramatic af, slightly annoying(but in a good way), and pretty damn smart! I didn’t see that ending coming at all! Loved this one!

This book is like watching a trashy soap - lots of drama, horrible villain, women banding together to take down the enemy.
Jenny owns Glow - a classy salon for the wealthy member of Buckhead, very ritzy suburb of Atlanta, GA. With the help of her investor, Olivia, Jenny offers spa pampering as well as beauty salon options such as hair and makeup. With the help of her assistant, Kesha, they keep these well-kept women looking photograph ready.
Crystal has married Bryce, the ex-husband of Shannon - who is now socially tossed aside. Olivia ascends to the position of power on the local committee - digging her nails into everyone's business. Karen is caught in the middle - long time friend and supporter of Shannon but obligated to at least offer friendship to Crystal.
And the drama ensues.
Very enjoyable, nice buildup to the ending - though predictable, still very enjoyable.

Effectively entertaining, Jeneva did a wonderful job with multiple narrator pov, past and present , and character development.

Listen you aren’t going to find a relatable character, not truly, however this is really an awesome fun read.
It’s super cringey in the best way bc the characters felt so real and most unlikable and that was the point . I would love to see this get adapted.

I get good vibes about Jeneva and look forward to finishing what I haven’t read from her and what she comes out with next!

Hard to compare this to the perfect marriage- they really see brig so great
