Graphic novel che ha il sapore di una fiaba dei vecchi tempi con la classica morale di "stai attento a cosa desideri". Per questo motivo potrebbe sembrare poco originale, ma come sotto effetto di un incantesimo ti tiene incollato fino all'ultima pagina per la curiosità di scoprire il destino della protagonista.
La versione italiana pubblicata da BAO Publishing è stata stampata in un bellissimo volume cartonato in bianco e nero con dettagli color oro, che accentuano ancora di più i tratti "vintage" della storia, ma che purtroppo danno fastidio alla mia vista, così ho letto la versione inglese a colori, che insieme ai disegni ho trovato davvero deliziosi.
