It's really rare that I relate to a character so much, even when there's so many differences. If I had read this when I was younger it'd probably be very special to me, but even now I enjoyed it greatly. The art is super cute, the story is told well, it's got some cute informational snippets for anyone who needs them.

Minor things like trigger warnings in the front and resources in the back are also very nice touches.

It was a really cute story about coming to terms and understanding when sexuality and mental health. I read it with one of my allo friend and they have a lot of fun questions and I found myself really relating and learning more about my own sexuality as well which was fun!

I bought this graphic memoir as a gift for my aroace sister but wanted to give it a read for myself before giving it to her and I'm so glad I did.

A well told and inspiring story about learning to love yourself and accept where you are in life. I'm not asexual myself but this helped me to better understand the asexual experience. I also saw some of myself in the portrayal of OCD and autism in this book.

Content warnings for allusions to domestic abuse, multiple mentions of sexual assault, bullying, emotophobia, and panic attacks.

This was a really sweet, personal comic about the creator's experience of growing up asexual and coming to understand their sexuality. It also covers topics such as OCD and anxiety. I think this is a really great read for people who are on the aro or ace spectrum as there'll be a lot that they can relate to (the comic covers the frustrating lack of aro/ace representation in popular media, so the fact that this comic is being published by a mainstream publisher is incredible and such an encouraging step in the right direction for aro/ace visibility). I think it's also a great source to point people to who don't know anything about aromanticism or asexuality as these sexualities and experiences are explained in quite simple terms. On top of this, the art is really great too!

I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
