I'm in love with this series.

I get some people would hate it, its pretty fast pace, the girls can be annoying the boys just as bad but I'm sorry it is happy in the end and I just loved the books. I love the guardian angels, and how they are with everyone. It is a nice feeling.

Spoiler I was so so so so sad with the epilogue when Marna had died, but I knew everything couldn't be perfect, and Jay is such a lovable character I knew it was the right ending for her.

Kai is so so so cute, and I loved the joy he had when
Spoiler Anna had seen her mother and she said they were celebrating their marriage in heaven

I'm so happy for all the happy endings with all the nep. Z especially she was a favorite.

Spoiler AND KAI AS A DAD, BE STILL MY OVARIES

Excuse me I need to go have a cold shower.

This book wasn't necessarily less good than the others, but it just didn't really wow me. I also had some small issues with it, but overall it was very good. The epilogue really got to me. Sweet Reckoning is a beautiful ending to an amazing series.

Me gusto mucho.

Hahaha me encanta.

Since I hated the other two books, and I thought more than once that this series is so overrated. In this book I won't say that, because this book was the best in them. I liked it more I never thought I'd like anything in this series but I did like this book so much. the characters weren't lame as I always described them. To summon my review This book is the best in the series and I'm glad that I didn't drop it.

I'm so sad to see my beloved characters go! :(

I'll miss Anna, Kai, Kopano, Blake, Ginger, Marna, Jay, Patti and all the gang like hell, but at least I'm comforted with the thought that, wherever they might be, they are happy and at peace.

Sweet Reckoning was amazing! Fans of the series totally have to read it and, for those who haven't even started this series, what the hell are you doing with yourself?

Anna, Kaidan and their friends are put to the test in this last instalment of the series we came to love.

After travelling around the world, gathering supporters and preparing for the ultimate showdown between good and evil, the time has arrived for our characters to take a stand and fight.

The prophecy is going to take place and Anna is going to lead the war against the Dukes, fighting for the freedom of all nephilim. But things aren't easy. Far from it.

Facing incredible danger, heartbreak and emotions running high, our friends have to stay united and keep a clear head or risk losing it all.

I loved the fact Anna was a master at controlling her emotions and keeping it cool, seldom losing the sight of her goals.

It was really interesting seeing the heroine helping the hero pulling it together, for a change. It is almost always the hero who has to make the heroine see that there are certain things that need to be done, therefore they can't afford losing their heads.

This time around, Anna was the one giving Kai strength, helping him stay level-headed and focused.

That's not to say she didn't panicked a little sometimes, but she was so strong that she reigned over everything else.

And Kai? OMG, that guy is a god! I love him so much, both for who he is and for how much he loves Anna.

I knew that once he allowed Anna to love him, but most important of all, once he allowed himself to love her in return, he would give all of himself and hold nothing back.

I was proved right. His love for Anna is so deep and the way he showed it all the time was just so freaking perfect, that I was reduced to a big pool of mush in the floor with each passing scene. SWOON!!!

Can I just say 'THANK YOU, WENDY!' for finally giving us all the hotness and sexy times between Anna and Kaidan that we have been begging for ages?

OMG, I didn't know Anna had it in her to be such a tease! Then again, with that man, I would be craaaaazy as well. Ahahahah :P

It was simply fascinating watching them being together in such a way. I'm glad they could finally just be. In the words of our dear heroine - H-O-T-T!!

And funny too, by the way. Trust me, everybody knew when they were about to jump each other.

About the rest of the gang? I loved them all and I'm so proud of everything they accomplished. I wish they were real so that we could all be besties and live happily ever after.

Seriously guys, you have to read Sweet Reckoning!

This is it. The ultimate showdown. The end of the road. Now or never. The characters we came to love and admire have been walking for some time to reach this point and everything is going to be decided.

I can't promise you a happy ending for everybody, but I assure you Wendy Higgings tied everything up beautifully and you'll be, if not completely happy, then at peace with everything.

You know what they say, hope springs eternal.

I binge listened to this series, mainly because it was so action packed and the narrator for the audiobook was so good! (Obviously the chemistry between Anna and Kai was fun, it was static!) This one stood out from a lot of the angel fantasies out there, because the nephilim and guardian angels actually acknowledged God, and used prayer and a sword of righteousness to overpower the corrupted demons. It was really fascinating how demons interacted with the characters, and how convents/churches were seen as a safe, holy place away from demons. One thing that might not be everyone's cup of tea was that Anna's virginity was seen like a prized possession among the demons, like it was the ultimate thing to corrupt. Even though each "Duke" had a speciality like Anna's father was substance abuse, Anna's virginity kept coming up as if that defined if she was fully corrupt or not. However, I can see how that might be a rarity in our culture, so I can see how demons would be confused why a niphilim would be a virgin and make her stand out.

Es fing zwar langsam an, aber dann nahm die Geschichte an Fahrt auf und es wurde richtig gut. Und der Epilog ist soo schön und süß! ♥
