Even though Mason died, the ending of this book was simply beautiful. Mead's writing is just in a legion of it's own, she shows some serious talent.

I'm enjoying this series a lot - it is very YA but that just means it's achieving what it set out to do. I was pleasantly surprised at how sad I was at the ending of this novel, which made me realise I was more invested in these characters than I thought I was.

It's been interesting reading as an adult as I often think the choices made/things said are a bit silly and sound young.... and then i remember what I was like as a teenager and it all makes a bit more sense as to why it was written that way. I think teenage Catelyn would have absolutely frothed over this series and been so on board

It's total fluff, but who cares? It is like the modern R.L. Stein, only a lot longer.

Estoy confundido. No consigo leer tus señales.

The second book in the series was most definitely worse than the first one. Every single possible detail from the previous book must be repeated (and as I'm reading the 3rd one, it's happening again). The whole prologue was a giant infodump. The ending, however, intrigued me and I'm glad to be reading the next book.
