Heck yes I rated this five stars. These books are quick fun reads that also incorporate some heavier topics. It never really feels forced and I love the chemistry between all the characters. The pacing of the books is good too. I don’t feel like the author is rushing to anything or not taking enough time to reach a point. I want to binge read the whole series honestly.

dimitri and rose’s relationship is illegal and kinda icky
but ignoring that
i really like adrian
it’s an interesting plot
it’s kinda trashy but that’s okay
however lissa and rose’s friendship takes a backseat to rose’s relationships boo

Reread June 19th, 2021
This was a good installment. I love Rose's mom (and
Spoilerher dad, once he gets introduced somewhere around book 4).
The action was exciting and fast paced. Rose deals with a lot emotionally in this book, with her mom, romance, feeling like Lissa is being taken away from her, and the heart-wrenching end. It was definitely heavy in places, but still had its moments of humor. The plot also progresses in terms of
SpoilerMoroi training to use magic offensively and meeting Adrian, another spirit user who can do different things than Lissa, as well as Rose taking away Lissa's darkness and having to deal with it herself.
It was a good sequel to book 1, and I look forward to rereading book 3 soon. 4.5 stars.

No matter how many times I read this book, I always cry.
Love books that make me cry, they show how emotionally attached I am to the characters.

Better than the first, probably due to the further development of the characters. I almost shed a tear. I really like the exploration of the mother/daughter relationship.

I enjoyed this book. Rose and Lissa's friendship was one of my favorite things in Vampire Academy. The love and loyalty continues on in Frostbite.Eventhough Rose has to deal with their friendship changing due to Lissa's relationship with Christian. Also Rose really stepped as a guardian in this book. When called on to make tough choices in bad situations she started to really understand what being a guardian meant.

It was good to finally get an insight into Rose's relationship with her mother.
