A book of short stories.

A collection of short stories. Some were very interesting and others weren't. There was a story a young black boy in a poor neighborhood and the characters that lived there. Another was the story of the origin Abe Lincoln's emancipation proclamation. The last was a story of animals in a zoo and how they communicate and how they move up in a caste-like system in rebirth.
