A beautiful book I started reading while experiencing daily psychosis, was not a great first read i can assure you, I dropped the book faster than my sanity did, however reading this a couple years later while properly medicated just made me really connect to the book.. it was very.. relatable i'd say.
Great book, absolutely loved it despite it being a very slow read.

There's a lot to like about this book. But... then again, there's a lot of this book in general. Too damn long. To the point of detracting from its pacing and the reader's enjoyment. If King had been less famous and his editors better able to help him help himself, this could have been a 4+ star book. Still, some really interesting concepts and the novelty of "old crocks" rather than nubile young folks as the heroes.
