This book was fine I guess. I finished it yesterday and I’ve already forgotten most of it. It made me laugh, and it made me cry so the writing was well done. I don’t think you’ll regret reading this by any means, there was just nothing that really made it more than 2 stars for me. However, it does take a lot for me to rate higher than 2 stars, as I have a very specific type of romance novel I love.

.
Fun and flirty with an emotional twist that satisfied my angsty heart. This was a fast read for me, I finished it in just a few hours, the storyline being the type that keeps you turning the page because you just have to know what will happen next.
I wouldn't classify it as an office romance, I mean they do work together at a point but that's not where their story begins. But the enemies to lovers is a spot on description.
There were quite a few time jumps in the beginning to help build up the characters history but the amount of time they went between seeing each other seemed somewhat unrealistic considering Nathaniel worked for Presley's dad.
Overall I enjoyed it, the few complaints I had didn't outweigh the good so I would still recommend this to anyone who loves a good frenemies romance!

I can't say that I didn't like the book. I just couldn't get into the story. It didn't pull me in, the characters are not staying with me. Maybe I'll enjoy the next one more.

no. just no. This is my first Claire Contreras's book, and she just let me down. I have high expectation for this book, but then it's like when Sherlock fall from the building while Watson watch. (I am the Sherlock).

They always say that there is a fine line between love and hate. The Consequence of Falling was an epic read. Right away it hooked me. It was enemies to lovers done well. I didn’t want to do anything, but stay in bed and read.
I voluntarily read an early copy.

I loved this book so much and give it 4.5 stars and the only reason I did that because the editing was lacking. I read the same paragraph twice in two different sections. Other than that the story was fantastic. Loved Nate and Presley.
