This was a re-read and I'm going to bump it up to four stars this time. I feel like I enjoyed it more as a paperback and while I thought Hastings was super annoying the first time, now I found myself laughing at how clueless he is. Still annoyed by the fact that there end being very important bits of information that are never revealed anywhere that Poirot just somehow happens to know.

they’re…..cousins?! can we pls revisit that i feel like no one really addressed it. everyone was too busy calling poirot a tiny small little dainty silly man.
