What i like most about these books is how much i actually learn from them like there is so so so so much i learned about life and relationships and love and true love and just the complications the people the souls the stories and I'm amazed literally I'm bewildered by Jay Bell and the stories he tells and just how does one manage to be such a good storyteller i don't knoe but yeah this was another wonderful frckin experience i am utterly in love with Nathaniel and honestly who wouldn't be and Kelly is a queen honestly he slays and i love how imperfect he is and i love that he's not my favourite person ever but at the same time i am so immensely proud of him for who he is and who he has become

This book was fine - I think Bell can write well, and I always kind of relax into reading his books, but the schtick of repeating the same story from different viewpoints is already old. It's not too close, though, and it does provide a sequel hook. So maybe I should finally try the next one in the series?

Regardless of an author's skill, if you actively dislike the main character it's hard to enjoy a book. It isn't that the protagonist is a villain I just find him annoying and decidedly not fun to read.

i wasn’t the biggest fan of kelly’s character in something like spring, so i was a little wary about reading this at first but once i started it, i couldn’t put it down. it really made me see him in a new light and now he’s probably one of my favorite characters from the entire series. the book felt a little rushed towards the end, especially when it came to kelly and nathaniel’s romantic relationship, but i still really enjoyed reading it.

It’s wonderful going into each new instalment of this series and seeing it through new eyes. This time Kelly took the reins. Previously a side character, and one in the way at that I’m finding myself amazed at how one person’s viewpoint of others can skew your own opinions so much. No longer an obstacle to sneak around, Kelly’s own tale had me enthralled.

one of my favorites in the second cycle of stories. Really rounds out Kelly's character and leads right into Thunder.

I hated Tim in Something Like Summer, but I fell in love with him in Something Like Winter. I disliked Kelly in Something Like Spring, and now I'm a fan of him too. Funny what putting yourself in other people's shoes does to your perception of them, and Jay Bell is oh so good in making us see that and think about a person's circumstances before judging their actions.
I loved this book. I'm gonna go and re-read the whole series now and then continue with Thunder and Nathaniel's story :D
