Good excited one. But a little boring. I loved Avery and her dedication for his kids how she struggle to ensure them a better life and protect them from their abusive father but needed more insights in her past life with her ex also how she face her father's death and her sick mother and step father also loved the mmc but hoped to see the end of their parents and more insights in their past in the navy and what happened with their aunt. The story has potential to be better but needed more in the story of each character not a shallow discussion as it discuses topics of abusive relationship, corrupted parents and criminals however it was easy going and fast read with short chapters

I will say this: the spice was good. Great even. I loved little Miley and Annie, though i wish we would’ve seen more of them interacting with the men.
The story itself was alright, but there were various holes within the timeline. One chapter would start with “A few days passed since *this incident*” and then the next POV begins with “The next morning after *same incident*.” It just didn’t always line up, and I am a reader who picks up on that. I also feel like there was build up to the twins’ parents being a bigger issue than they were. They were mentioned multiple times but we only saw them once and it was minor.
Overall, not a story I would read again, but it wasn’t bad, just not the best.
