I'll be honest, I picked this one up because of the new Netflix adaptation. I heard great things but know that one must always read the book first!
Nothing groundbreaking but a really great palate cleanser, quick read if that's what you're looking for! I almost wish I read it while waiting in an airport. It just feels like that's where this one is meant to be consumed!
Now I'm off to see how Netflix chose to tell this story!

Read this book in one day and honestly really enjoyed it. It wasn't a life changing read but it was sweet and entertaining.

I love that it’s not a „spicy“ romance novel. It‘s cute, it’s romantic and not p*rn like other young adult novels.

I’m rereading all the books I own, and this one used to be an absolute favorite of mine. I’m still trying to decide if it’s camp or just cheesy. Mrs. Smith is excellent at dialogue which I’m pretty sure used to be all I cared about. I did have fun with it, but in a similar way one has fun watching a hallmark movie. It’s really incredibly straight, you guys. Like VERY straight. But I had fun and I don’t regret giving it a reread.
