Hm.. okay at first, I thought I was going to give this 3 stars. But the second half of the book made it truly deserving of 4. I was a bit on snooze during the first half but literally once all the dark shit of the faes came to light and who the REAL culprit or "rotting" was... and the motives OMG!!! This was light on the spice but I actually enjoyed it being more plot heavy. I would actually re-read this again potentially. I definitely want to pick up the second book "Dirty Lying Dragons", now that I've become accustomed to the author's writing style.

Spice 2/5 (there was 1 or 2 sex scenes I believe" and I only rate it like a 2/5 because this book was plot and character driven which is a nice change from the stuff I usually read

This was suggested to me since I love the ACOTAR series. I will say, the only real thing this has in common with that series is that it's a fae romance with seasonal courts. For me, it was a 3.5 star book. It was a cute, easy read with loveable characters. I'd say it was medium-fast paced. It's not one to rip out your heart and trample on it, which I was thankful for, for once. There is some dark magic involved because we can't have a fantasy without *some* discourse. I recommend if you want a quick romantasy. I really enjoyed it! (I initially gave it 4 stars but I feel like other people judge more harshly than I do, so I changed it to 3.5)

What a magical book! I couldn’t put it down at first but then life got in the way! I am so glad I took my chances on this book. If you love fairies, and bonded mates then pick this up you won’t be disappointed.

I made it 31% before I DNFd this book.
The premise was very intriguing and I thought it was interesting the different take on a changeling, but I just couldn't roll with the way the characters were written.  The cover art and the reviews I saw for it on TikTok is what made me pick it up in the first place. I just couldn't get into it with the way things were set up. I have nothing against the author, it's just not my jam so I'm setting it down and walking away.
