If you’re in the mood for something magical, flirty, and cozy, look no further! Kiss and Spell by Celestine Martin takes us to the Grove, and it’s the perfect addition to your TBR for witchy-romances or that Fall TBR we all have.

Meet Ursula. She’s just been left at the alter by the mayors son and is trying to put her life back together. She’s distanced herself from family and friends, especially after becoming the talk of the town. Meet Xavier. He’s a cursed Fae prince who insulted the Fairy Queen. He’s been banished until getting a true love’s kiss. Will these two develop a friendship upon meeting, and will this friendship lead to breaking the curse?

Turns out this book is a part of a series, but it totally works as a standalone! Now I want to read more in the Elemental Love series. I found Martin’s writing to be full of magic and layers. I really enjoyed this witchy book and it’s the perfect read for the Fall season. I cannot wait to read more in the series and from Martin!

I love this fairytale contemporary romance. Witches, fairies, magic, fairy god mothers, love, romance, and some spice. If you enjoy magical realism and romance this is a great pick. 10/10 feel good romance.

I started out not liking Ursula due to how the last book ended in Witchful Thinking, but overtime I came around to her. She's a complicated person who was trying to make herself into something she was not. I love the development of her relationship with Xavier. I think it was well developed and I think the writing in this book made it all the more enticing. I thought the ending of the book was rushed. We never got to see how Xavier left the palace and realms before seeing Ursula. I thought there would be at least a more dramatic reunion between the two. With all the build up to meeting, I thought there could have been more written there. Can't wait to read the rest of the elemental love series!
