This was a little better than the first but I’m struggling to forgive how much mental labor it took to get here.

I liked this one more than the first book but at points I felt bored and just wanted it to end. I think the foundation has been laid for the twins fated mates and I have some theories about what is to come next. I hate to admit it but some of the characters are growing on me.

Also Tory Vega… I can’t believe it took me as long as it did for me to catch it. Victorious anyone? I wonder what my girl Victoria Justice would say haha

This was much better than the first book. It was refreshing to finally see the twins fight back. The relationships continue to be very confusing, but I feel like we established our main ships at this point also think that their order is Phoenix, and I also think that there are two sets of fated mates going on right now. Still super confused about the reading order but I’m just going to read the main series and if I start getting confused, maybe I’ll try to sprinkle the Novelas in there. We’re just going to accept that somehow these girls are powerful enough that they survived combat.
