I continue to enjoy this series and how it is developing. But sometimes I worry that in the quest to create tension the author the story comes precariously close to falling off the rails. I worry about the next book(s) and if she will be able to maintain consistency without overdoing the tension and still offering an engaging read. Things are still on track however, and I did enjoy this short and looking forward to the next full length novel. This is one of my favorite series of the year ...

“So I’m just going to come home from work one day and find you in my apartment? Maybe wearing a ribbon?”

This is one action packed spy novella, however, that last part "Death Takes a Holiday" was just the sweetest moments of these two together figuring out where they stand and taking steps forward in their relationship and I am so ready for it!

Book 2 - I've heard rumors and I don't know if I'm ready for it after all that loveliness.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but these novellas are so damn good, I’m actually glad they exist instead of another full length book.

But that’s what being close to someone means. You accept the risk of being hurt, of causing the pain. And you learn together how not to hurt each other.

Yeeessss! Finally!!!! This is why we communicate!!!
