Amazing! Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this (even if you're not religious), take 15 min, read through it, think on it, read it again, rinse and repeat.

Moderate: Body horror, Death, Violence, Grief, and Suicide
There are some depictions of violence (including people being torn apart) and body horror (biblically accurate monsters), but it is all in the cartoon style and is not particularly graphic or upsetting (other than its intended effect, of showing what Hell is like in this story).pmileham's review against another edition

I wasn't ready for this short and powerful telling of the story of Judas. You've heard his story about how he betrayed Jesus, but what happened after?
What I loved:
The whole freaking story line. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next, why the world was this happening and was a reading something that was almost blasphemous, but needless to say, I didn't stop.
I loved the imagery of the story. I don't read a lot of graphic novels, but I have a deep love for them and this one will be getting purchased.
My critique:
I wanted more...I mean, I don't know how much more could of been told, but I just wanted more....
At the beginning it was a little hard to follow. About 5 pages in, I had to go back to fully grasp what was happening.
Overall:
I want it and need it in my life. Man...let me tell ya'll about the enemy. When the word says that he comes to kill, steal and destroy, like a thief in the night, you betta believe it. He is so cunning, no swift, sometimes you don't even know you being trick, what the young people say...Stay Woke...yea, you need to Stay Woke...jeez it really was great.
4.5 Stars!

A powerful, beautiful, thoughtful story about Judas Iscariot. While it's theology has some holes in it, as a story it's amazing. It's gorgeously illustrated & it was exceptionally well done.
We all know the story of how Judas betrayed Jesus...but is it fair that Judas was relegated to the role of villain in Jesus' story? We *had* to have a villain, yet how could God send this man to hell, the one whom He had predestined to cause the death of Jesus, when he was just fulfilling his role? A very moving story that humanizes the people from the bible.

I never would have thought that I would be interested in reading a comic about Judas, but this one is done really well. The art was cool and reminded me of stained glass images that one might see in a church (more for the outlines of the characters, etc. than the coloring though). This is one of those books that is different enough to warrant checking out.
