I love the Moomins and have been making my way through the beautiful new editions published by Sort Of Books for the first time. I probably would have enjoyed reading this a bit more had I not seen the episodes of the tv show based on this particular book so many times.

Adorable and heartwarming. I may no longer be a child but this really brings me back to my roots, it’s very grounding to me and reminds me of childhood but applies well to adult life as well. Thoroughly enjoyable for my first Moomin book, I shall certainly read more :)
