I literally can’t put into words how much I love this webcomic and these characters. It’s such a beautifully told story. It took over my life. I can’t recommend it enough.

The series as a whole is amazing, definitely recommend reading the comic series if you like the show. Personally, I think the comic is a lot better than the show i’m sorry 😭 I just feel like the personalities of the characters are different in the show and I prefer the comic version of nick and charlie 🥺

I adored these comics, they have great representation. They are lighthearted and show a positive side of queer teens, which are usually shown in a sad way, where they can’t be together and there is a lot of homophobia that really interfere in their relationship. Even though it does show homophobia, transphobia, etc. it is not the main plot in the story, it is just something that affects the characters  (what I mean is that the whole purpose of their existance is not to show sad characters because of homophobia). They are affected by very real issues, like self-image and EDs, and portrays them in a way that shows that there is a way out, there is a way to get better.

It's wonderful seeing Nick and Charlie's relationship develop in the romantic setting of Paris! And I loved that the ensemble cast got more attention and development of their respective stories. This volume touches on some heavier topics but always discusses them with sensitivity and empathy; please check the trigger warnings before you read.
